Swim Lessons at 123 Swim ABC

Safe, Fun, Structured Swim Lessons for Infants, Kids, Teens & Grown-ups.

At 123 Swim ABC, swim lessons are designed to help swimmers build real skills, real confidence, and a positive relationship with the water—step by step.

We believe swimmers learn best when instruction is structured, supportive, and enjoyable. That’s why every program is intentionally built around experience, comfort level, and skill readiness, ensuring progress feels achievable and motivating, not rushed or overwhelming.

A Clear Path from First Splash to Strong Swimming

Swimming is both a safety skill and a lifelong ability. Our programs follow a structured progression, introducing essential water and safety skills early, then reinforcing them toward independence, endurance, and confidence.

Swimmers advance through clearly defined levels, building:

  • water comfort and breathing control
  • floating and body awareness
  • coordinated movement and stroke skills
  • stamina, judgment, and real‑world water readiness

Progression is always based on skill readiness—not age or time in a level.

Effective Lessons That Are Also Enjoyable

Strong progress doesn’t come from pressure—it comes from confidence and engagement.

Our instructors create lessons that are:

  • calm and encouraging for beginners
  • engaging and motivating as skills develop
  • intentionally structured, while still enjoyable

Positive experiences in the water help swimmers stay relaxed, focused, and willing to try new challenges. When swimmers enjoy the process, learning happens faster, and skills last longer.

Why Lesson Frequency Matters

While once‑weekly swim lessons can be effective, experience shows that swimming twice per week or more significantly improves progress, especially for beginner and developing swimmers.

Families who choose higher lesson frequency often see:

  • faster skill development
  • better retention between lessons
  • increased confidence and consistency

Shorter gaps between lessons help skills become more natural and automatic.

Flexible, Year‑Round Programs for Every Stage

All lessons take place in a warm, indoor pool and are offered year‑round, with flexible scheduling and start‑anytime enrollment. Private, semi‑private, and small‑group options allow families to choose what best supports their swimmer’s progress.

The result: capable swimmers, strong safety skills, and confident kids who enjoy being in the water.

Infant & Toddler Swim Lessons (123-Swim · Ages 0–4)

Our 123-Swim Program is specifically designed for babies, toddlers, and preschool-age swimmers. Lessons are taught privately, one on one, in a calm, supportive environment with a strong focus on early water safety, comfort, and confidence.

The 123-Swim Levels

This program gently introduces young children to the water and builds essential skills that form the foundation for lifelong swimming.

123-Swim
Class Format

  • Private (1:1) instruction
  • Warm indoor heated pool
  • Short, focused lesson durations
  • Year‑round availability
  • Start anytime enrollment

This program progresses through three clearly defined stages:

Best for: Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers with little or no water experience

Gentle Water Starters introduces your child to the pool in a relaxed, nurturing way. This level focuses on building trust — with the instructor, the water, and the learning process itself. Lessons are guided by the child’s comfort level and progress at a gentle pace.

Skills developed include:

• Comfortable water entry and exit
• Assisted floating positions
• Body awareness and balance
• Early breath control cues
• Positive and playful water experiences

This level emphasizes emotional safety, routine, and enjoyment, helping children associate the pool with calm and success.

Best for: Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers who are comfortable in the water

Confident Floaters builds on early comfort by developing stronger body awareness and control of buoyancy. Children begin learning how their bodies behave in water and how to relax in floating positions.

Skills developed include:

• Supported and transitioning back to float
• Improved buoyancy and balance
• Increased breath awareness and timing
• Assisted forward and backward movement
• Early safety response skills

This level develops both physical control and mental confidence in the water.

Best for: Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers, completing the final stage of water survival training

Independent Splashers builds floating control and water comfort to develop true early independence and self rescue ability. This playful yet purposeful class teaches children how to respond when they unexpectedly enter the water, remain calm, and use learned motor skills to recover and move toward safety.

Instruction remains gentle, supportive, and age appropriate while introducing practical survival concepts and early independent movement.

Skills developed include:

• Independent back float used as a recovery and safety position
• Front to back transitions to regain breathing control
• Early self rescue responses after water entry
• Purposeful movement toward a wall or stable support
• Basic coordinated propulsion using arms and legs
• Controlled breathing during movement
• Confidence remaining in the water independently for short periods

This level completes the 123 Swim water survival and rescue sequence, combining physical skill development with mental confidence and calm decision-making in the water.

Kids Swim Lessons (Swim-ABC · Ages 4+)

The Swim-ABC Program is our structured swim development pathway for children ages 4 and up, building water safety, stroke skills, endurance, and aquatic independence step by step. It follows a clear progression from foundational water skills to advanced stroke development and endurance, giving parents confidence that their children are learning essential skills early, systematically, and in a fun way.

Swim-ABC Level Overview

  • Level A → Learn to swim independently and safely in pools without attractions
  • Level B → Become confident, skilled, and oriented in pools with attractions
  • Level C → Achieve full swimming readiness for open water and complex environments

Swim-ABC Level A  — Foundations for Independent Pool Swimming

Level A builds confident, safe, and capable beginner swimmers through a structured three‑stage progression. Skills are introduced early, then reinforced, and finally performed independently with consistency and endurance.

Swim‑ABC
Class Format

  • Small group lessons (4:1 ratio)
  • Warm indoor heated pool
  • Weekly lessons, year round
  • Flexible start dates
Intent: Introduce and explore all core water and swim elements in a calm, confidence-building environment.

A1 is designed for children new to structured swim lessons. The focus is on water comfort, safety awareness, and first exposure to all foundational swimming skills. Instruction emphasizes guided learning, assisted practice, and positive exploration.
